Delicious in Dungeon - Episode 24

Laios and his friends are exploring a new section of the dungeon. Chilchuk brings up the topic of age groups among different species because he believes the fungal transformation phenomenon is only temporary. If it were permanent, these mushrooms would be highly sought after.

Laios considers the possibility of helping Falin using the changelings. He knows it would be difficult for them to live in the surface world and suggests luring them into a changeling ring to alter their species until their lower half transforms into a more suitable form.

The gargoyles from the last episode reappear because Laios forgot to close the door properly. One of the gargoyles grabs Laios' sword Kensuke, which releases a strange mist. Chilchuk and Marcille realize that this mist contains changeling spores and that forming a ring could trigger a transformation.

Marcille suggests that everyone hold hands and form a circle. Although the plan doesn’t go entirely as expected, they succeed in turning one gargoyle into a stone device. They also manage to transform the second gargoyle into a well and discover that washing off the changeling spores returns them to normal.

While waiting, Senshi suggests making dumplings. Izutsumi hesitates to eat the transformed dumplings, but Senshi reminds her that she’s eaten unusual meat before without any issues. Eventually, they eat the dumplings and take a nap. When they wake up, they’re back to normal. Marcille insists that Laios washes Kensuke to remove the changeling design.

Our heroes find an old train and use it. During the ride, Senshi asks Laios why he and Falin became adventurers. Laios shares that in his youth, he fled from many societies and took on various jobs, while Falin attended a magic school. Eventually, Falin left the school to join him.

Laios explains that Falin had a lonely childhood due to her magical abilities and that he disliked the environment. So, he fled their village a year before Falin did. He vowed to be there for her until someone else could take on that role.

Senshi proposes that they could consume Falin to restore her, similar to how they did with the red dragon meat. Laios considers this plan and wonders how long it would take. Senshi suggests involving all their allies to make this plan work. Laios outlines the plan: first, free the winged lion, then use its power to defeat Thistle, and finally recruit all allies to consume Falin’s dragon components and revive her.

The episode ends with Izutsumi saying she’s hungry, and Senshi suggests preparing a meal before reaching their next destination. The episode concludes with preparations for the meal and the note "To be continued."
