Fans of the manga series The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You by Rikito Nakamura and Yukiko Nozawa will soon have a new reason to rejoice, as a TV anime adaptation is planned for 2023. This was confirmed on the series' official website, which also introduced the main cast, crew, and promotional artwork.

Hikaru Sato is directing the series, with Takashi Aoshima handling the music. Akane Yano is in charge of character design. Wataru Katō, Kaede Hondo, and Miyu Tomita will voice the main characters Rentaro Aijo, Hakari Hanazono, and Karane Inda, respectively.

The manga tells the story of Aijo, who, after being rejected by a hundred girls, prays for advice and learns from a god that his rejections were due to a cosmic error. The god promises to set things right by granting Aijo a hundred soulmates, each destined to be his true love. However, if he fails to reciprocate their feelings, each girl will die in a tragic accident. The anime adaptation takes the harem concept to the extreme and promises to be a hilarious romantic comedy.
