The new trailer for By the Grace of the Gods Season 2 is here

The continuation of the Isekai slice-of-life series is animated by Maho Film and begins on January 8, 2023. Yuji Yanase directs, while Yuka Yamada handles composition and Kaho Deguchi serves as character designer and chief animation director. Hiroaki Tsutsumi composes the music, and all main cast members return, including Azusa Tadakoro as Ryoma and Yuki Kuwahara as Eliaria. Joining the cast is Yuiko Tatsumi as Miyabi. The opening and ending themes for the season are "Way to go" by MindaRyn (Opening) and "Drum Shiki Tansaki" by Azusa Tadakoro (Ending).



The story of "By the Grace of the Gods" is based on a light novel by Roy and Ririnra. It follows Ryoma Takebayashi, a middle-aged Japanese businessman whose life comes to an abrupt end. After his death, he is revived by three great gods and sent to another world of swords and magic, where he is reborn as a child. Ryoma is warmly welcomed by the gods and decides to live alone in the forests at first. There, he diligently practices magic and hunting, while his greatest passion lies in researching his tamed slime creatures. The series celebrates a relaxed life with slimes in another world and a second chance at life with kind-hearted people.
