Detective Conan - Episode 1126

Kogoro Mori and Conan are hired by Kon Kanoko to investigate the possible infidelity of her husband, Kon Heiwa. Kanoko suspects that her husband is having an affair with Sakurada Sakura. After a week of surveillance, Kogoro finds no evidence of cheating and informs Kanoko, who seems relieved and invites Kogoro to dinner.

The situation changes dramatically when Kon Heiwa is found dead, bludgeoned with a trophy. Kogoro comes under suspicion as his fingerprints are found on the murder weapon. Kanoko initially supports Kogoro's alibi but later expresses doubts, hinting that he might have committed the murder while she was in the salon.

Inspector Megure and Takagi analyze the surveillance footage and discover inconsistencies in the timestamps, suggesting that the recordings were tampered with. Kogoro's sleepwalking deduction reveals that Kanoko manipulated the camera and murdered her husband at 1 PM before meeting with Kogoro later. Faced with the evidence, Kanoko confesses and explains that it was her love for the company that drove her to murder, not her husband.

The episode ends with Kogoro being cleared of suspicion and Kanoko being arrested, while Conan and the others discuss the case over dinner.
