Detective Conan: The 1 Million Pentagram releases special trailer and synopsis

The 27th film in the "Detective Conan" series, "Detective Conan: The 1 Million Pentagram," is set to hit theaters on April 12, 2024. A special trailer for the film has now been released.

The story takes place in Hakodate, Hokkaido, at the warehouse of the Onoe Zaibatsu, where the notorious thief Kaito Kid receives a clue about a planned heist. This time, the target is a Japanese sword that belonged to Toshizo Hijikata, the vice-commander of the Shinsengumi. Meanwhile, Heiji Hattori, the detective from the west, and Conan are in Hakodate to participate in a kendo tournament. On the day of the heist, Hattori confronts Kid and sees through his disguise. At the same time, a corpse with a cross-shaped wound on its chest is found in Hakodate's warehouse district. The story revolves around a sword with a hidden truth.

The trailer begins with Conan's line, "Why does he have that?" and showcases intense scenes, including Hattori's confrontation with Kid under the moonlight.
