Digimon Adventure 02 The Beginning reveals new character posters and video ahead of release

The creators of the upcoming film "Digimon Adventure 02 The Beginning" have released a series of four character posters, accompanied by a new video. This video features the clean ending sequence from the original anime Digimon Adventure 02 with the song "Ashita wa Atashi no Kaze ga Fuku" by Ai Maeda. It was followed by a previously shown trailer for the new film, which is set to be released in Japan on October 27.













The plot of the film takes place in February 2012, shortly after the events of Digimon Adventure tri. and Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. Viewers will see familiar faces, such as Daisuke Motomiya and other main characters, now portrayed at the age of 20.

The cast is a mix of old and new, with returning actors like Fukujurō Katayama as Daisuke Motomiya and Junko Noda as V-Mon. New additions include Megumi Ogata as Rui Ōwada, a mysterious young man who claims to be the first DigiDestined, and Rie Kugimiya as Ukkomon, a unique Digimon that plays a key role in the plot.

The film is directed by Tomohisa Taguchi and written by screenwriter Akatsuki Yamatoya, both of whom were previously involved in Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. The production will be a collaboration between the anime studio Yumeta Company and Toei Animation.
