The full trailer for the anime series Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation (Japanese: Disney Tsuisuteddo Wandārando Za Animēshon) has been released. Simultaneously, it was announced that the ending song Obedience will be performed by the residents of the Heartslabyul dormitory.
The main trailer begins with scenes from the Disney films that served as inspiration for the series, including Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Snow White, Hercules, and Sleeping Beauty. Subsequently, the villains from these works as well as the leaders of the dormitories of the Night Raven College are shown, appearing in a dark mirror. For the first time in animated form, the students of the Heartslabyul dormitory are also presented.
The narration voice in the trailer is provided by Kōichi Yamadera, who in the Japanese version of numerous Disney productions has voiced characters such as Stitch from Lilo & Stitch, the Genie from Aladdin, and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast.
The ending title Obedience was already released in March of this year. Together with the opening song Piece of my World by the Night Ravens, it forms the musical framework of the series.
The series is based on the school adventure game Disney Twisted-Wonderland, whose original concept, main scenario, and character design are by Yana Toboso. The plot is a dark fantasy story, inspired by Disney villains. The comic adaptation of the game serves as the basis for the narrative. The first season titled Episode of Heartslabyul will be available exclusively on Disney+ from October 29.
