NHK has announced the broadcast dates for the TV anime adaptation of Saya Miyauchi's manga Dog Signal. The series will air on October 22 on NHK's E-Tele channel. Veteran director Kazuhiro Furuhashi, known for works like Spy×Family and the 1996 Rurouni Kenshin, will helm the project.

The anime focuses on the journey of Miyu Samura, an inexperienced dog trainer who struggles with pet care after his ex-girlfriend leaves him with a dog. His life takes a decisive turn when he meets Shinichirō Niwa, a seasoned dog trainer. Shinichirō introduces Miyu to a few other animal professionals: Ritsuka Izumi, an animal caretaker, and Suzunosuke Kubō, a veterinarian.
