A continuation of the animation series "Dorohedoro" based on the original work by Q Hayashida has been taken into production for the spring of 2026. The new season is to be made available nearly simultaneously in international markets. A newly designed main motif was released.

The visual representation comes from Kishi Tomohiro, who is responsible for the character design. The illustration shows the idiosyncratic aesthetic of the series, including the figure Kaiman, reminiscent of anatomical models, as well as various masks of the magicians.

The plot follows the amnesiac Kaiman, whose face was magically deformed to be lizard-like. Together with his companion Nikaido, he sets out to search for his original identity and those responsible for his transformation.

The direction of the new season is once again taken over by Yamasaki Yūichirō, while the studio MAPPA continues to be responsible for the animation production.
