The third season of the anime series Dr. Stone, titled Dr. Stone: New World, has set the premiere date for its second cour for October 12. This information was revealed during a livestream event, which also shared further details, such as the artists responsible for the opening and ending theme songs.



The second cour will feature an opening song titled "Haruka" (Far Away), performed by Ryūjin Kiyoshi. The ending theme song is titled "Suki ni Shinayo" (Suit Yourself) and is performed by Anly.

The first part of Dr. Stone: New World originally aired on April 6 and concluded with episode 11.

The new cast member Maaya Sakamoto will portray Francois in the series. The story arc of this season focuses on the Kingdom of Science, which joins forces with former members of Tsukasa's Empire of Might. The alliance aims to construct a ship for an ocean voyage, with the goal of uncovering the mystery behind a global petrification. Before the journey begins, the characters must gather the necessary resources and achieve scientific advancements to build the required ship.
