At the beginning of the episode, Senku and his team revive the skilled craftsman Kaseki. Taiju demonstrates incredible endurance by collecting all the stone fragments of their allies from the seabed. Kaseki is successfully revived and immediately begins constructing a drone, which is crucial for their plan to seize the petrification weapon, Medusa.

While Kaseki focuses on the drone, Ginro is summoned by the enemy. Senku equips him with a special weapon—a container filled with ethyl acetate, designed to disorient people. Nervously, Ginro heads to meet the enemy master, only to discover that it is a statue resembling Soyuz. Before he can investigate further, he is captured and severely injured.

Meanwhile, Kohaku battles Moz, the strongest warrior of the Petrification Kingdom. Despite being outmatched, she provokes Moz into using the Medusa to petrify Ginro before he succumbs to his injuries. Her plan succeeds, and Ginro is petrified, allowing him to be revived and healed later.

Kohaku also manages to catch a glimpse of the Medusa and realizes that it operates based on scientific principles. She instructs Amaryllis to inform Senku and the team about her findings. The episode ends with Kohaku expressing her trust in science and her friends as she prepares for the challenges ahead.
