Led by Kohaku and Suika, the Kingdom of Science encounters a countless number of deactivated Petrification devices (Medusas) at the epicenter of the petrification. The immediate investigation by Senku and Dr. Xeno reveals that the central diamond in every used device has been blackened and is thus ineffective, similar to a discharged battery. While the group secures as many Medusas as possible to study them, Senku simultaneously pushes forward the construction of a special ship. This stealth ship, whose slanted shape and surface covered with Medusa casings is meant to absorb radar waves, is the only hope to escape the relentless pursuit by Stanley's radar-guided fighter jet.

In parallel, Senku initiates a second, equally critical project from Brazil in the home base of Corn City: the artificial production of new diamonds to revive the Medusas. Contrary to the assumption that this is only possible for specialists, Senku instructs the team of Yuzuriha, Nikki, and Magma to synthesize the diamonds by means of high-temperature treatment of alcohol vapor with tungsten filaments. After initial setbacks, they achieve a breakthrough and produce functional diamonds. This masterful achievement demonstrates that science is not reserved only for geniuses. With the new diamonds and the completed stealth ship, the team prepares for the final leg to the source of the petrification, knowing that Stanley is constantly on their heels.
