Goku and his friends flee from the Gendarmerie soldiers and seek shelter as their enemies close in. During the skirmish, Goku is hit, but he shakes off the injury and destroys one of the enemy aircraft. Vegeta intervenes but is wounded. Goku gives him a Revive Bug so he can recover and keep fighting.

From their usual observation point, Gomah and Degesu watch the events unfold. Gomah notices that Hybis is wearing the Third Eye on his belt—a significant discovery. As Goku and his allies continue fighting, the Gendarmerie eventually retreats. Glorio instructs Goku and the others to head toward the Oparu District. At the same time, Gomah recalls that Abura once wore the Third Eye on his forehead. He orders Degesu to steal it from Hybis and bring it to him.

The narrator steps in and explains that the Third Eye is known as the Tertian Oculus. He reveals that previous Demon Kings wore the Oculus on their foreheads to secure their power and authority. However, during Abura's reign, the artifact was stolen, and many believed it was lost forever.

In a flashback, Dabura hands a subordinate the key to a secret vault. He orders him to steal the Oculus and bring it to the Third Demon World, promising to make contact later. The minion follows the instructions but loses both the Oculus and his communication device, severing the connection to Dabura. Although Dabura cannot reestablish contact, he is satisfied since the artifact is now out of reach. The narrator further reveals that Dabura became the new Demon King after Abura lost his power without the Oculus. However, after Dabura's death at the hands of Majin Buu, Gomah seized control.

Another flashback shows Hybis discovering the Oculus during a hunt. Instead of using it, he simply attaches it to his belt.

Back in the present, Goku and his friends reach the area around Tamagami Number One but are attacked again by the Gendarmerie. They must split up and take cover. Goku asks Neva for help, but Neva states that he only intervenes in wish-related matters.

Meanwhile, a girl approaches Hybis and demands his belt. She promises him a kiss in return, but Hybis proposes a different deal: he wants her hat in exchange for his belt.

Meanwhile, Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo continue fighting the enemy soldiers. But the situation escalates when a fleet of Gendarmerie tanks arrives. The odds seem hopeless until Kadan arrives with his unit. Together with Goku's group, they attack and manage to destroy the tanks and defeat the remaining enemies.

The scene shifts to Gomah and Degesu. While Gomah is furious about the failed attack, Degesu calms him down, reminding him that they still have the Gendarmerie forces as allies.
