Goku and his companions return to their normal age states, while Porunga and the Dragon Balls disappear. Vegeta challenges Gomah and fights in Super Saiyan 3 form. Meanwhile, Arinsu reveals to Glorio that she once saved him from the Third Demon World but then dismisses him. Glorio subsequently rejoins Goku's group, who thank him for his previously fulfilled wish.

During Vegeta's battle, Piccolo analyzes that the Tertian Oculus prevents Gomah's exhaustion. Arinsu has Kuu fetch the Book of Magical Artifacts to find the Oculus' weakness: three precise strikes to the back of the head. Vegeta's transformation collapses, prompting Bulma to persuade him to concede the fight.

Goku confronts Gomah once more and achieves the Super Saiyan 4 stage, unsettling Gomah. The episode ends with a determined look from Goku.
