In Episode 5, Goku meets Panzy, a brave girl skilled in both magic and technology. After saving her from an attack by the Gomah Gendarmerie, Panzy is impressed by Goku's strength despite his youthful appearance. She notices his round ears and learns that he is a Saiyan from the second Demon World, which surprises her, as the races in the Demon World are very diverse.

Panzy insists on joining Goku and his companions—including Shin, who is posing as Glorio—as they make their way to Kadan Castle to seek help in rescuing her friend Dende and reversing the transformation. Although Goku hesitates at first, he eventually agrees after Panzy offers her knowledge of the area and her technical skills. Along the way, they discuss Gomah's tyranny, as he drains the life years of those unable to pay his high taxes, highlighting the oppression of the Demon World's inhabitants.

Upon arriving at Kadan Castle, it surprisingly turns out that Panzy is the princess. They meet King Kadan, who was contacted by Glorio to find someone strong enough to defeat Gomah. Skeptical due to Goku's childlike appearance, King Kadan demands proof of his strength. Goku accepts the challenge and effortlessly defeats the castle's seasoned warriors, proving his extraordinary combat abilities.

Impressed by Goku's skills, King Kadan agrees to support their mission and provides them with an aircraft and the necessary supplies for their journey. He also sends Hybis, one of his subordinates, to the outside world to fetch Goku's friends from Earth, who are to aid them in the fight against Gomah. Panzy is determined to accompany Goku, convinced that her technical skills could prove especially valuable if the aircraft encounters problems. Despite concerns for her safety, Goku eventually agrees.

During takeoff, they load the aircraft with supplies, but shortly after liftoff, the engine sputters due to the excessive weight and crashes.
