The first visuals for the theatrical version of "Dragon Ball Super Super Hero," based on Akira Toriyama's manga and set to hit theaters in 2022, have been revealed. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan in 2022. The release timeline may vary depending on the country and region. As the name suggests, the film will focus on the "superhero" aspect.
In addition to familiar characters like Gohan, Piccolo, Goku, Vegeta, and Pan, the images show a mysterious character wearing a reddish-purple suit or a red suit, which was featured in a special video released at New York Comic Con, as well as a character in purple clothing. Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, whose character names were also announced at New York Comic Con, also make an appearance.
As previously reported, the series' creator, Akira Toriyama, is heavily involved in Super Hero and had already written the script while the last film, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, was still in production.
