Together with a second key visual, the official website of the upcoming CG anime film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero has released a 60-second second trailer, showcasing Piccolo's new form where he unleashes his hidden potential for the first time. In the trailer, Piccolo infiltrates the Red Ribbon Army's base under the attack of Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, the newly created ultimate androids of the Red Ribbon Army, and witnesses a major conspiracy. Faced with these powerful enemies, Piccolo unleashes his hidden abilities.



The film will open in Japanese theaters on April 22. The release schedule for the CG film may vary depending on the country and region. In North America, the film will hit theaters in the summer.

Tetsuro Kodama is directing the film, and Chikashi Kubota is the animation director. Naoki Satou is composing the music. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is the 21st film in the Dragon Ball anime franchise, following the 20th film Dragon Ball Super: Broly, which was released in December 2018. The original creator of the Dragon Ball manga, Akira Toriyama, is responsible for the original story, screenplay, and character design.
