DRECOM Media, a recently established Japanese publisher, has announced plans to release manga adaptations of five of its light novel series. The manga will be published on the DRECOM website starting June 23, opening a new avenue for the storytelling of these established novels.
The lineup of adaptations includes a variety of titles, each with its own unique premise. "Blade & Bastard," "Safe & Sound in the Arms of an Elite Knight," "The 100th Time's the Charm: She was executed 99 Times, So How Did She Unlock 'Super Love' Mode?!," "I Only Have Six Months to Live, So I'm Gonna Break the Curse with Light Magic or Die Trying," and "Stuck in a Time Loop: When All Else Fails, Be a Villainess" will all bring their stories to life in a fresh, visual format.
As a teaser of sorts, the first chapter, Chapter 0, of "Blade & Bastard" is already available on the DRECOM website. The manga adaptation is helmed by Makoto Fugetsu, who illustrates the novel's universe with his creative skill.
