Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 is coming in April 2023

The third season of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," also known as the "Swordsmith Village Arc," has released a new trailer and announced a release date for 2023. The animation was once again handled by Ufotable, and the trailer can be viewed in the video below.



The anime will begin with a 1-hour special and will be screened worldwide on February 3, 2023, at the "Kimetsu no Yaiba - World Tour Screening" in theaters. This event will consist of episodes 10 and 11 of the Entertainment District Arc and the first episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc.

According to the plot described by VIZ, the Twelve Kizuki of Muzan Kibutsuji are not fully assembled for the first time in over 100 years, and he sends the surviving members on a new mission. Meanwhile, Tanjiro travels to a village of swordsmiths to have his damaged sword repaired and must explain to the smith who crafted it how it became so severely damaged. While Tanjiro waits for the repairs, his enemies approach, and he must face them alone until his sword is ready. Will Tanjiro be able to defeat his enemies and successfully complete his mission? We won’t find out until 2023.
