Third trailer for the TV anime “The Elusive Samurai” reveals new information

The third trailer for the TV anime "The Elusive Samurai," based on the work by Yusei Matsui, has been released, showcasing new cast members and details about the theme song.

The story of "The Elusive Samurai" revolves around Hojo Tokiyuki, the second son of Hojo Takatoki, the head of the Kamakura Shogunate, and depicts his historical escape. The trailer begins with the line "The die is cast" and shows Tokiyuki's thrilling flight. A striking line from Suwa Yorishige states: "If you kill Takauji, you'll be a hero. If you survive, you'll be a hero."

Katsuyuki Konishi has been announced as a new cast member and will play the role of Ashikaga Takauji, Tokiyuki's greatest enemy and a charismatic figure.

The opening song "Plan A" by DISH// can be heard in the trailer. The ending song "Kamakura STYLE" is performed by Bocchi Boromaru. Both groups have also shared comments.

"The Elusive Samurai" will premiere on July 6. The anime is produced by CloverWorks under the direction of Yuta Yamazaki, with Asaki Yugawa voicing Hojo Tokiyuki.
