The fourth season of the anime series "Duel Masters LOST" is titled "Danzai no Shōnen" (roughly translated as "The Boy of Damnation") and starts on Friday, October 9, 2026. It will air on "Duetube," the official YouTube channel of the Duel Masters brand, as well as on other streaming platforms. As the creators announced on August 22, the new chapter consists of four episodes, released biweekly on Fridays at 9 PM (JST). Along with the dates, the key visual was released: it shows the mysterious boy Kamimisaki Lost, holding the "Crystal Card" central to the story, and the protagonist Win Kirifuda, reaching out his hand to him.

Content-wise, the fourth chapter directly follows the events of its predecessor: Win leaves the lighthouse with the feeling that, through further merging with Kaiser Abyssbel-Jashin, he has taken a life. While mysterious deaths continue to unsettle people in the Shinjuku district haunted by the "Lost Field," the boy Kamimisaki Lost steps before him, claiming to know the world beyond the boundary. In his hand shines a crystal card that supposedly has the power to change the world. What guilt Win has taken upon himself, what awaits at the end of collecting the crystal cards, and what Lost's true intention is – a battle driven by desires pulls Win deeper into its vortex.

"Duel Masters LOST" is based on the manga by Shigenobu Matsumoto (story) and Hiroshi Kanbayashi (art), serialized in Shogakukan's "Weekly CoroCoro Comic," and is the latest spin-off of the trading card game "Duel Masters," which has been sold since 2002. The anime adaptation started in 2024 with "Tsuioku no Suishō" ("Crystal of Memory"); it was followed by "Gekka no Shinigami" ("Death God Under the Moon") and "Bōkyaku no Taiyō" ("Sun of Oblivion"). All three chapters, totaling twelve episodes, are currently available on Duetube and other services. Production of the fourth chapter was already announced in February of this year.

Until the start, the team will provide additional material: The short anime series "Duel Masters Lost Mini," showing the daily life of the shrunk Win and friends, returns with "Kaettekita Duel Masters Lost Mini" – the new series starts on August 29 and airs Saturdays at 12 PM on Duetube. On this occasion, the official website also provides SNS icons for the new characters "Dream Bolmeteus White Dragon," "Suijin Mizuhanomenokami," and "Kamimisaki Lost." Since August 22, the channel has also been releasing short recaps titled "Daitai 1-bun de wakaru Duel Masters LOST," in which Meguru Hayama (voice: Yūsuke Shirai) guides through the story so far in about a minute; the parts for the first three chapters will appear until early September.

Television is also involved: The broadcaster BS12 will show the third chapter "Bōkyaku no Taiyō" for the first time starting September 2 – Wednesdays from 26:00, with heroine Nika Katori as a companion and additionally with Win by her side; broadcasting pauses on September 23. The following day from 6 PM, episodes will be available for seven days in TVer's media library. There is also musical news: The song "Cantare" by the band Tsukuyomi, previously only heard in the ending of the fourth episode of "Gekka no Shinigami," will be released as a digital single on September 9; a version sung by Nika (voice: Hana Hishikawa) is already available for streaming. The key visual for the new chapter also mentions the opener "Ayakashi Ayashi" by Kashitarō Itō and the ending song "Tsuitachi feat. Yoshino" by Tsukuyomi.

The studios J.C.STAFF and SMDE are again responsible for the production. Direction is by Toshiki Fukushima, series composition by Yōichi Katō, character design by Riki Hashizume, and music by Tsuyoshi Sakabe. The voice cast includes Shōtarō Uzawa as Win Kirifuda, Wataru Hatano as Kaiser Abyssbel-Jashin, Hana Hishikawa as Nika Katori, Mariya Ise as Wayumi Tsukumoya, and Nina Tamaki as Kamimisaki Lost.
