The official website for the TV anime adaptation of TYPE-MOON and Yuichiro Higashide's Fate/Apocrypha novel announced on Saturday that EGOIST and GARNiDELiA will perform the show's theme songs. EGOIST will perform the opening theme song "Eiyū Unmei no Uta" (The Song of Heroic Fate), and GARNiDELiA will perform the ending.
EGOIST has previously performed theme songs for titles such as Guilty Crown, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, and both seasons of Psycho-Pass, among others. GARNiDELiA has previously created theme songs for Kill la Kill, Qualidea Code, and The Irregular at Magic High School, among others.
The show will premiere in July and will air on Tokyo MX, BS11, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and MBS. The series will also be streamed exclusively on Netflix.
Higashide himself is in charge of the scripts, and Yoshiyuki Asai (Charlotte) is directing at A-1 Pictures. Yūkei Yamada is adapting the original character designs by Ototsugu Konoe for animation. Masaru Yokoyama (The Lost Village, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Nobunaga Concerto) is composing the music.
