"Eikyū Shōnen Eternal Boys" comes to Japanese cinemas in June with a new episode

Fuji TV announced on Wednesday that the original anime "Eikyū Shōnen Eternal Boys" will return to Japanese theaters on June 9 with a new episode titled "Eikyū Shōnen Eternal Boys NEXT STAGE." Additionally, a special recap of the story will be screened in theaters for two weeks starting May 19.

The anime, which premiered on Fuji TV on October 10, will begin airing weekly with two episodes each on Tokyo MX and BS11 starting April 1. The 24th and final episode of the current season will air on March 27. HIDIVE is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan.
"Eikyū Shōnen Eternal Boys" follows a group of men around 40 years old who, despite their age and physical condition, aspire to become idols and are managed by the agency Manpuku Geinō Production. Migmi, the director of "Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town," is helming the anime at LIDEN FILMS. Kimiko Ueno is in charge of the series scripts, while Seiko Asai adapts the original character designs by ma2 for animation.
Ryō Tanaka serves as director, and Yukari Hashimoto composes the music, while King Records provides the theme songs and is involved in the development of the spin-off novel. The manga adaptation was serialized in Kadokawa's Comic Gene magazine starting April 2022, and the Human Academy Performing Arts College is collaborating on the project.
