First teaser video for By the Grace of the Gods season 2

On the official website for the anime By the Grace of the Gods (Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko), the first teaser for the second season was released last Friday. The video introduces a new character and their voice actor and sets the anime's premiere for January 2023.



Following this announcement, voice actress Yuiko Tatsumi joins the main cast as Miyabi.

The first season of the anime series By the Grace of the Gods aired on Japanese television between October and December 2020 and consisted of a total of 12 episodes. The team involved in the production returns for this second season.

Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko is a series of light novels created by Roy and illustrated by Ririnra. It was published on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2014 and continues to this day. Additionally, there is also a manga adaptation of the work illustrated by Ranran, which was first published in Square Enix's magazine Manga Up in November 2017. Currently, 8 volumes have been released in Japan.

Ryoma Takebayashi is a middle-aged Japanese businessman who suddenly dies. He didn't have much luck in life until, after his death, three gods decide that Ryoma should be reborn as a child. The world in which he will now live is a world ruled by magic and swords. When Ryoma arrives in this new world, he decides to dedicate himself to slimes.
