During the AnimeJapan 2025 event in Tokyo, new details about the upcoming adaptation of the Fate series were revealed. Gakuto Kajiwara will take on the role of Sigma, a magic-wielding mercenary without an identity, who is drawn into the Snowfield Holy Grail conflict by the mysterious Francesca.
The first presented illustrations show Sigma as well as other central characters:
- Flat Escardos, voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, and
- Berserker, portrayed by Kenyu Horiuchi.
The designs were created by Yukie Yamada, who, in addition to character design, also oversees animation direction. An expanded visual of Berserker emphasizes his menacing presence.
