Expelled from Paradise: Heart's Resonance announced

The sequel to the acclaimed film "Expelled from Paradise," titled "Expelled from Paradise: Heart's Resonance," has been officially announced. The announcement was made during the "Virtual Anime Fes," an event hosted by Toei Animation in a virtual reality space. Alongside the announcement, the first key visual and a teaser promotional video were unveiled, giving fans a glimpse of the upcoming cinematic experience.

"Expelled from Paradise," directed by Seiji Mizushima and written by Gen Urobuchi of Nitroplus, was released in theaters in 2014. Despite a limited screening in only 13 theaters, the film attracted over 110,000 viewers and achieved impressive sales with more than 70,000 Blu-ray and DVD units sold. The film was praised by critics and won awards such as the 24th Japan Movie Critics Award for Best Animation, the 68th Technical Skills Award in the Animation category, and first place in the Amazon Ranking Grand Prize for the first half of 2015 in the Anime category.

For "Expelled from Paradise: Heart's Resonance," the original team, including Mizushima and Urobuchi, will reunite. Masatsugu Saito is responsible for character design, while NARASAKI composes the music.
