Extensive celebrations for the tenth anniversary of the Re:Zero anime series

The anime adaptation of the series Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World (Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活) is launching a comprehensive project for its tenth anniversary. The celebrations span the entire year 2026 and include ten major individual projects.

To kick off the activities, a specially designed anniversary website and an official logo draft for the occasion have been released. Simultaneously, a dedicated YouTube channel for the series has been set up, featuring a first short preview film and further exclusive content for the anniversary.

An early highlight is an exclusive online special event titled "TV Anime Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- 10th Anniversary Party ~Premium Night~". This live broadcast will take place on January 17 and brings together several main cast members of the series, including Yusuke Kobayashi (voice of Natsuki Subaru), Rie Takahashi (Emilia), Satomi Arai (Beatrice), Nobuhiko Okamoto (Garfiel Tinsel), and Kohei Amasaki (Otto Suwen).

The author of the original novel series, Tappei Nagatsuki, expressed his ongoing enthusiasm in a written statement. He described that the joy of seeing his texts transformed into moving images remains unchanged and voiced the wish that the series may experience further anniversaries in the future.

Shinichirou Otsuka, responsible for the illustrations of the light novel, also congratulated. He recalled the profound feeling when he saw his character designs come to life in the first episode. For the upcoming fourth season, he anticipates significant challenges for the production team but looks forward to the new visual adaptations with great anticipation.

The anime series launched in 2016 and has since become one of the most well-known works in the isekai genre. It is based on a light novel series, of which over 13 million copies have been sold worldwide.

The already announced fourth season of the anime adaptation is scheduled to premiere in April 2026. For this new season, Tomokazu Sugita was recently cast as the voice actor for the role of Reid Astrea.

Further concrete information regarding the remaining projects as part of the anniversary is expected in the coming months.
