The anime television series originally titled "Tetsuryo! meet with Tetsudo Musume," based on TOMYTEC's well-known character series "Tetsudo Musume" ("Railway Girls"), will celebrate its premiere in Fall 2026. This was announced during the "AnimeJapan 2026" event on March 28.

Alongside the premiere date, two more voice actresses for the cast were confirmed: Fuka Izumi will take on the role of Yayoi Nakano, while Yukari Anzai will be heard as Arisa Nishiura. The main quartet of the series, consisting of the four railway-enthusiast students Misaki, Kodama, Ushio, and Usa, is already voiced by Mei Tachibana, Mao Shoji, Haruna Fukushima, and Hika Tsukishiro.

The announcements were supplemented by the release of the first key visual and a first promotional video (PV). The visual shows the four members of the Railway Travel Club (abbreviated "Tetsuryo-kai") in the upper part and Arisa Nishiura in front of the retro train "Retron" of the Matsuura Railway in the lower part. The first PV, with new scenes, gives a preview of the four club members' travels by train through various regions of Japan, capturing the series' relaxed atmosphere.

The story revolves around the four "Nori-Tetsu" (Riding Enthusiast) students of the Railway Travel Club who, on their journeys, meet the "Tetsudo Musume" – characters representing employees in railway companies and related professions. The direction is by Misuzu Hoshino, and the animation is produced at Studio East Fish.
