Anime fans attending the Anime Expo in Los Angeles will experience the world premiere of the English dub of the TV anime special Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- on July 1. This special event, presented by Aniplex of America, will also feature appearances by the anime's directors, Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume.

Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- is a spinoff story by Ryohgo Narita, first announced at the Aniplex Online Fest 2022 in September. Originally scheduled to air on December 31, the release was delayed due to production issues. Following the premiere at Anime Expo, the anime will broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX and BS11 on July 2 at 19:00 JST.

The cast of this anime special includes both Japanese and English voice actors: Kana Hanazawa and Anjali Kunapaneni as Ayaka Sajyō, Yūki Ono and Ben Balmaceda as Saber, Tomokazu Seki and David Vincent as Archer, and many more. Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume, who have both previously worked on commercials for Fate/Grand Order, are directing the special at A-1 Pictures. The script is penned by Daisuke Daitō, while Yūkei Yamada and Hiroyuki Sawano contribute character design and music composition, respectively.
