Feelings and inner conflicts are the focus of the new “Trapezium” commercial

The upcoming anime film "Trapezium" has released new promotional content. The 15-second spot titled "The Idol Aspiration" shows a moment of vulnerability for Yuu, who, despite his dreams, doubts his suitability as an idol and says, "I know. Someone like me shouldn’t become an idol." The spot also highlights the emotional support from his teammates, voiced by Shoya Kiwazuru of JO1, who plays the supportive role of Shinji.

"Trapezium" is set to hit Japanese theaters on May 10, 2024, and is based on a youth novel by Kazumi Takayama, a former member of Nogizaka46. The film follows high school student Yuu Azuma as she forms the idol group East-West-North-South. Asaki Yuiwaki voices Yuu, Fina Hitsujimiya plays Kurumi, Reina Ueda voices Ranko Hatori, and Haruka Aikawa plays Mika.
