Fermat no Ryōri: New main theme and preview trailer released

As part of an exclusive advance premiere of the first episode in Tokyo, new visual impressions of the upcoming anime series "Fermat no Ryōri" were presented on June 15.

The freshly released key visual shows protagonist Kento Kitada serving a portion of Spaghetti Napoli with a radiant smile. In the background, other central figures from the restaurant „K“ can be seen – including the charismatic head chef Kai Asakura.

The new main preview trailer introduces the series' plot in more detail: Kento, who has given up his dream of becoming a mathematician, encounters the enigmatic head chef Kai. With the words "Your mathematical thinking is made for the kitchen!", Kento is introduced to a new world. The trailer follows Kento's entry into the culinary world and is accompanied by the theme song "Maillard" by OSHIKIKEGO.

The anime adaptation is based on the manga of the same name by Yūgo Kobayashi. At its core is the mathematical genius Kento Kitada, who, after the end of his academic career, discovers a new passion under the guidance of Kai Asakura: the application of mathematics in the art of cooking. "Fermat no Ryōri" combines culinary competition with mathematical logic into an extraordinary anime experience.

The series is scheduled to start on July 5.
