The cast for the new TV anime "Medalist," based on the work by Tsurumaika, has been finalized. Harunase Natsumi will voice the protagonist Inori Ketsusoku, while Ootsuka Gouo will lend his voice to Tsukasa Akira. Along with this announcement, new images of the characters have been released.



"Medalist" is a figure skating anime about Tsukasa, a young man who has dedicated his life to the sport, and Inori, a young girl whose talent he discovers. The series has garnered significant attention, winning first place in the Comic category at the Next Manga Awards 2022 and the 68th Shogakukan Manga Award in the general category.

Natsumi's character Inori is a fifth-grader with ambitions of winning an Olympic gold medal in figure skating. She is passionate about the sport and trains alone. Under Tsukasa's guidance, her innate talent begins to flourish.

Gouo's character Tsukasa is a 26-year-old man who has competed in the All-Japan Ice Dance Championships but is unsure what to do after retirement. Due to his own experiences of starting figure skating in middle school, Tsukasa understands Inori's situation and agrees to train her.
