The fourth and final season of the anime “BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War” is titled “Kashintan – The Calamity” and will air from July 25, 2026, at 11:00 PM on TV Tokyo and other channels in Japan. Alongside this, the production team released a striking key visual: it depicts a wounded Ichigo Kurosaki kneeling on a barren battlefield, hand on his Zanpakutō, while the almighty Yhwach looms above him—a grim preview of the impending final battle.

The musical accompaniment for the finale features two new artists: the opening “I-BULL” is by jo0ji, and the ending “Rasen” (Spiral) is by 9Lana. As in previous cours, author Tite Kubo personally selected the tracks from demo versions. In a statement, he emphasized his desire to promote new artists and give viewers the opportunity to discover them through the anime. Kubo praised the high quality of the demos and the close collaboration with the musicians.

On June 21, 2026, exclusive advance screenings of the first three episodes were held in Japanese cinemas, accompanied by stage appearances from the voice actors. Additionally, a fan vote for the best episodes of the first three cours has started, with results to be broadcast over three consecutive weeks starting July 4. Voting is open until June 28 on the official website.

To build anticipation for the grand finale, the third cour “Sokokutan” will be available for free on multiple streaming platforms such as TVer, ABEMA, and Nico Nico Douga starting July 12. Regular streaming availability for “Kashintan” begins on July 26.

Animation production remains with PIERROT FILMS. The main cast stays unchanged: Masakazu Morita voices Ichigo, Noriaki Sugiyama as Uryū, Yuki Matsuoka as Orihime, Hiroki Yasumoto as Yasutora, Fumiko Orikasa as Rukia, Shinichiro Miki as Kisuke, Yukari Tamura as Yoruichi, Romi Park as Tōshirō, and Takayuki Sugo as Yhwach.
