The production of the final part of the anime series "Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE" (Japanese original title Dr. STONE) has been confirmed. This third and concluding part of the final season is scheduled to be released in April 2026.

Simultaneously, a first preview trailer was released, announcing the introduction of a new, important character named SAI (pronounced "Sai").

SAI is described as a man with the "strongest mathematical abilities of humanity." The story introduces him as a person indispensable for the construction of the spaceship, as pointed out by the character Ryusui.

The released trailer shows first images of SAI, including his silhouette and a petrified state, but largely keeps his exact role and personality open.

"Dr. STONE" is an adaptation of the manga of the same name by Riichiro Inagaki (author) and Boichi (illustrator), whose total circulation exceeds 18 million copies. The plot follows the scientist Senku, who in a stone-age world attempts to rebuild civilization with the help of science.
