Final season of "Golden Kamui" starts in January 2026

The anime adaptation of the manga "Golden Kamui" by Satoru Noda is entering its final phase. The official start date for the concluding chapters has now been announced.

The plot of the series, which bears the title "Golden Kamui – Jagd auf das Gold der Ainu" in the German translation, revolves around the search for a hidden gold treasure in historical Hokkaido. Various factions are pitted against each other in this quest.

The final season will be introduced with the opening song "Ōgon no Kanata" (approximately: "Beyond the Gold"). The song is performed by rapper Awich and the band ALI, continuing the musical collaboration from the previously released film. A newly released promotional clip offers first visual impressions of the final storyline and connects them with the aforementioned theme song.

The basis for the finale's content is the previously shown two-part film version titled "Golden Kamui: Sapporo Bierfabrik-Hen" (approximately: "Sapporo Brewery Chapter"). This served as a direct introduction to the concluding events of the story.
