Arthur continues his search for Orichalcum in the Nether, accompanied by Vulcan, Lisa, and Yu. There, they unexpectedly encounter Arthur's parents, who reveal themselves as members of the "Resistance" against the corruption of the Empire. They have been living in the Nether for years and have given birth to three more children. Arthur's father claims to know the truth about the Evangelist and the Great Cataclysm through visions in his hat – including the origin of the Spontaneous Combustions from Adolla.

In parallel, the group discovers pre-Great Cataclysm space technology parts. Vulcan forges a new "Excalibur" for Arthur from them, while his parents explore Asakusa and disappear again. Meanwhile, Shinra trains with Benimaru to open his "Third Eye" and consciously establish an Adolla connection. Benimaru's esoteric methods (meditation, earth connection) initially fail, but Shinra briefly establishes a connection with Sho.

The episode ends with Sho, in the Adolla realm, announcing the arrival of the Evangelist, while Arthur's new sword serves as a symbol for the upcoming battle against the White Clad.
