The plot of the episode continues the journey of the familiar group, who find themselves in the northern regions after passing their exam. On their way, the characters fall into a cave containing a special mineral. This rock prevents the use of magical powers, which poses a significant limitation for the magic-gifted members of the group. While searching for a way out, they are confronted with the threat of a monster. At the same time, they have an encounter with other mages who became known during the earlier exam.
