First key visual and new production details for the second season of "Mato Seihei No Slave 2" presented

During the "AnimeJapan 2025" event in Tokyo, the first key visual for the upcoming second season of the anime "Mato Seihei no Slave 2" was released. The visual features the main character of the new season, Ren Yamashiro, who stands at the center as the leader of the defense brigade. In the background, other central characters can be seen, such as Kyoka Uzen, commander of the 7th Unit, Tenka Izumo, leader of the 6th Unit, as well as the protagonist Yuki in his so-called "Slave" state.

In addition to the key visual, further production details were announced: Alongside the already-known animation studio Passione, Hayabusa Film will also be involved in the production. Director Masafumi Tamura remains at the helm, while Keiya Nakano once again handles character design. It was also confirmed that the second season will premiere in 2026.

"Mato Seihei no Slave" is based on the manga of the same name by Takahiro and Yohei Takemura, which is currently serialized on Shonen Jump+. The story revolves around a group of female warriors who battle monstrous beings called Shuki, aided by the high school student Yuki. The first season aired starting in January 2024.
