First teaser of Sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life

On the official website for the anime Kaiko Sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life, the first teaser, new voice actors, and the premiere date of the series were announced. The anime is set to air on January 7, 2023, on Japanese television. The site also revealed that the anime's opening theme song, titled "Changemaker", will be performed by singer Hinano.



Following this announcement, the following voice actors were added to the cast:

- Mai Nakahara as Droyes

- Satoshi Tsuruoka as Beseria

- Shinnosuke Tachibana as Lizette

- Kenji Hamada as Enbil

- Keiko Watanabe as Erica

- Hiroshi Iwasaki as Smith

The manga was serialized by Rurekuchie in Young Magazine the 3rd by Kodansha in August 2019. In 2021, the publication moved to Monthly Young Magazine under the same publisher, where it continues to this day. The manga remains ongoing, with 8 compiled volumes released so far.

The story centers on Dariel, a soldier in the Dark Lord's army who cannot use magic. Instead, he relies on his intellect and initiative as an assistant to one of the Dark Lord's most trusted captains. However, when the captain is replaced, Dariel loses his privileged position and is discharged. Disillusioned, he retreats to a human village and begins a new life by using his skills to take on requests for help.
