The production team of the anime television series "Kami no Shizuku" (English title: The Drops of God) has released the names of five additional voice actors who have joined the cast. Alongside this announcement, a new key visual was also presented to the public, showing the central characters of the story. The series is based on the manga of the same name created by the writing duo Tadashi Agi and artist Shu Okimoto.

The newly hired members of the voice cast will take on various supporting roles that are important to the plot. They include Yuko Kaida, Shu Fujima, Misa Watanabe, Yuya Uchida, and Jin Urayama. The current key visual shows the two main characters facing each other in an environment with wine glasses.

Kenji Itoso is directing the production at animation studio Satelight. Yuu Mitsuru is responsible for series composition and screenplay, while Soudai Suwa designs the characters. The musical score for the series is composed by Eishi Segawa. The broadcast of the anime adaptation on Japanese television is expected for next April.

At the heart of the story is Shizuku Kanzaki, the son of a highly respected wine critic. After his father's death, he faces an unusual test in his will. To inherit the significant wine legacy, he must, together with a rival, a talented critic, track down and identify a series of twelve legendary wines, referred to as the "Twelve Apostles," as well as the ultimate drop, the "Tears of the Gods," based solely on poetic descriptions.
