Fourth season of The Rising of the Shield Hero: First details published

For the fourth season of the anime series The Rising of the Shield Hero (Tate no Yūsha no Nariagari), initial information about the plot, scene images, and an online preview video were released. The premiere episode is titled Siltvelt and follows protagonist Naofumi Iwatani and his companions on their journey to the beast kingdom of Siltvelt. There, they are to negotiate with Kutenrou, who is plotting an assassination attempt on Raphtalia. However, their plan is unexpectedly complicated by an overly enthusiastic reception from local rulers and citizens.

The released preview video is narrated by the characters Fohl (voiced by Kōhei Amasaki) and Atla (Yoshimi Ohara). Nine pre-released scene images provide a first look at key moments of the new season, which continues Naofumi's development from a persecuted outsider to a strategic leader and places the political tensions between humans and beastfolk at the forefront.
