Frieren: Mini Anime Releases New Episode "Body and Mind Swap Spell"

A new short film from the mini-anime series for "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is available. The current episode is titled "The Magic That Swaps Hearts and Bodies."

The episode revolves around a magical effect that causes two people to swap consciousnesses. It focuses on the three main characters Frieren, Fern, and Stark, who come across this particular magic in the course of a reward for completing a request.

The mini-series depicts the characters in exaggerated, cute proportions, designed by the illustrator Mebachi. Each episode presents a self-contained, original story where the travelers explore various magical phenomena on their journey. So far, 17 of these short stories have been released. In contrast to the main plot, which currently features an intense battle arc, the short films emphasize the heartfelt interactions between the characters.
