The second season of the anime television series "From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman" begins in July and will be streamed globally exclusively via Prime Video. As part of a provider event in London, a first promotional short film and a visual preview motif in English were released.

The first season, whose broadcast began in April 2025, was also offered worldwide via the platform. It achieved a placement among the top ten most-watched contents in over 45 countries and territories.

The voice cast includes Hiroaki Hirata, Nao Toyama, Hitomi Ueda, Yuki Hirose, Hinaki Yano, Arisa Nakada, Chiwa Saito, Kaito Ishikawa, and Naoya Uchida. The production is handled by a directorial team, several design leads, and the animation studios Passion and Hayabusa Films.
