A new character visual of the character Lily has been released for the anime adaptation of the novel series "Futsutsuka na Akujo de wa Gozaimasu ga: Hina Miyaku Chou Soratokaeden" (engl. "Though I Am an Inept Villainess: Tale of the Butterfly-Rat Swap at the Birth Palace").
The plot of the story describes an unusual fate: The intelligent and popular Linglin and the hated Huiyue, who is considered a villainess, unexpectedly swap bodies. While Linglin masters the challenges with an iron will, Huiyue begins to change under the influence of Linglin's true personality.
Lily serves as a chambermaid for Huiyue and initially develops a strong aversion to her mistress due to repeated humiliations. However, through the inexplicable swap, she suddenly encounters a kind version of Huiyue – in reality Linglin – which gradually changes her attitude.
The published visual was specially created for this announcement by the character designer Kikuchi Ai and shows Lily in her characteristic court dress. The series combines elements of historical fiction with supernatural developments and personal transformation.
