The anime adaptation of the series Futsutsuka na Akujo de wa Gozaimasu ga: ~Hinamiya Chōso Torikae Den~ (English: Though I Am an Inept Villainess: Tale of the Butterfly-Rat Body Swap) has announced two more voice actresses for main roles. Manaka Iwami will take on the role of Rein Lin, while Natsumi Kawaida will be heard as Zhu Huiyue.

Rein Lin is described as an intelligent and popular character who, despite her physical weakness, possesses great mental fortitude. Zhu Huiyue is a person driven by feelings of inferiority, who is considered a villain due to her actions and envies Rein Lin.

The plot takes place in an imperial palace that trains future empresses. In the story, Rein Lin and Zhu Huiyue swap bodies through a spell. While Rein Lin welcomes her new, healthy body, Zhu Huiyue begins to better understand her rival's personality and develops ambivalent feelings.

A second teaser visual, showing both characters before and after the body swap, has been released. In addition, a video featuring the voices of the actresses was presented. The broadcast of the production is scheduled for the year 2026.
