The anime "FX Senshi Kurumi-chan" has received a new key visual and a visual PV. At the same time, three more voice actresses for the adaptation were announced: Asami Seto, Ayasa Ito, and Miho Okazaki. The series will start airing in October 2026 on Japanese television; the production was officially announced in January 2026.

The story is based on the manga by Demunyan and Tansan Daisuki, which is serialized in KADOKAWA's Monthly Comic Flapper magazine. It centers on college student Kurumi Fukuga, who dives into foreign exchange (FX) trading to win back the 20 million yen her late mother once lost in the market. Between hope and despair, she watches the rates while her companions each seek their own path in the money business.

The new key visual shows Kurumi and her three companions surrounded by currencies from around the world, laptops, and smartphones. Asami Seto voices Mochiko Kogane, Kurumi's classmate and investment friend: she is knowledgeable about stocks and forex trading, is considered a reliable market observer, and can boast a fortune of over ten million yen. Ayasa Ito takes on the role of Mebuki Yamashi, a friend of Mochiko who starts trading out of admiration for her and dreams of making money without working. Miho Okazaki lends her voice to Yasuko Takane, who appears as the investment blogger "Afui-chan," has already suffered painful losses, and knows the risks of the market from her own experience.

The visual PV also offers a first glimpse of the ending theme "$・¥・€" (Dollar, Yen, Euro), sung by the main character Kurumi, voiced by Aina Suzuki. According to the information, Mochiko, Mebuki, and Yasuko also contribute to the piece. The composition and lyrics are by Nichi Soda, with arrangement by Ginnojo Hoshi. In accompanying comments, the three new voice actresses expressed their enthusiasm: Seto highlighted the mix of cute design and nerve-wracking plot, Ito admitted initial ignorance of the topic, and Okazaki winkingly pointed out that investments are always made at one's own risk.

Direction is handled by Yuuki Ogawa, with series composition and screenplay by Kenta Ihara. Kazuyuki Ueda is responsible for character design, and Takurou Iga composes the music. The animation is produced at Studio Passione. The manga source was initially published as a web comic and has been serialized in Monthly Comic Flapper since February 2021; nine volumes are currently available.

On the occasion of the key visual release, a campaign is also running on the series' official X account: those who follow the channel and repost the corresponding post can win one of ten copies of a card featuring the new artwork. The deadline for entries is August 16, 2026.
