The light novel series "Gacha wo Mawashite Nakama wo Fuyasu: Saikyou no Bishoujo Gundan wo Tsukuriagero" (short: Gacha Girls Corps) by Chinkururi is getting a TV anime adaptation. As announced by publisher Micro Magazine on June 25, 2026, the series will premiere on Japanese television in January 2027. At the same time, the main cast, key staff members, and a first teaser visual were released.

The story follows passionate gacha player Heihachi Okura, who pours his entire salary into the mobile game "Girls Corps." One day, he pulls a UR item called "Invitation to Another World" and is transported to a fantasy parallel world. There, he must summon warrior girls using a gacha function on his smartphone to fight against monsters. His goal: build the strongest girl army and find a way back to his own world.

The main roles are voiced by Daisuke Sakaguchi as Heihachi Okura, Miyu Tomita as the UR knight Norl Fanya, and Iori Noguchi (member of the idol group =LOVE) as the UR mage Estelle. The role of the mascot character Moffett has not yet been cast—the voice actor or actress will be announced at a later date.

The animation is jointly handled by studios Zero-G and Saber Works. Overall direction is by Masahiro Takata, series direction by Takashi Asami, and the script concept is by Deko Akao. Character design and animation supervision are by Mineori Suzuki, with music composed by Hiroaki Tsuboi and George King.

The teaser visual shows Heihachi holding up his smartphone, surrounded by sparkling gems and treasure chests, while Norl and Estelle are visible in the background. It conveys the lively and humorous tone of the series. First character visuals of Heihachi, Norl, Estelle, and the fluffy Moffett have also been released.

Author Chinkururi expressed being overwhelmed by the announcement and emphasized looking forward to the visual and vocal portrayal of the characters. The main cast also shared their excitement: Sakaguchi described the series as a "crazy comedy" and promised fast-paced fun, Tomita highlighted the refreshing gacha elements, and Noguchi praised the charming girl characters.

To celebrate the anime adaptation, the official X account (@gachanime_pr) launched a giveaway: until July 1, 2026, fans can win a signed color paper from the three main voice actors.

The light novel series began in 2016 as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou and was published by Micro Magazine under the GC Novels label. The ninth and final volume was released in 2020. The manga adaptation by Shu Haruno is serialized in "Comic Ride" and currently spans 13 volumes; volume 14 is set for release on June 29, 2026. The total circulation of the series exceeds 1.2 million copies.
