To coincide with the launch of the anime series "The Case Study of Vanitas" on WAKANIM, the streaming service has also released a trailer featuring the German dub. WAKANIM releases each new episode with German subtitles every Friday at 6:30 PM, followed by the German-dubbed version approximately two weeks later. Another series is "The Dungeon of Black Company," airing on Fridays at 4:00 PM, though no preview for the German dub is available yet.



Tomoyuki Itamura (Nisemonogatari, Owarimonogatari, Tsukimonogatari) directs the anime at BONES, while Deko Akao (Noragami) is responsible for the series' scripts. Yoshiyuki Ito (Concrete Revolutio, Carole & Tuesday) serves as the character designer and chief animation director.

The plot is described as follows: Rumors about the Book of Vanitas, a clockwork grimoire of dubious reputation, lure Noé, a young vampire searching for a way to save a friend, to Paris. However, what awaits him in the City of Flowers is not hours of idly wandering the streets or rummaging through dusty bookshops in search of the tome. Instead, his quarry comes to him... in the arms of a man who claims to be a vampire doctor! Will Noé be drawn into a conflict that threatens the peace between humans and vampires? Will he share his fate with the curious and slightly unhinged Vanitas and his quest to save the vampire world?
