A new animation production with the title "Ghost Concert: Missing Songs" has been confirmed for the year 2026. The project continues the tradition of musical battle series established with "Symphogear".
The plot takes place in the year 2045, in a society where musical performances are forbidden. The story follows the protagonist Aiba Serina, who possesses the ability to perceive and touch ghostly apparitions.
The musical direction of the project is handled by Elements Garden, while Aria Entertainment is responsible for the conception. The animation is produced by Studio ENGI.
The creative team includes Norimasa Sue松 as the originator of the idea, Masato Jimbo in the dual role of director and scriptwriter, as well as Maaaki Ui for the character design.
The casting of the main role has been announced. Fujidera Yoshinori voices the character of Aiba Serina, while Rina Hidaka embodies the ghostly apparition of Cleopatra, who forms a connection with the protagonist.
A first visual motif shows both characters together. In a production-internal preview, a musical piece from the series is also heard, which is referred to as "summoning song".
