"Girls Front Line" reveals additional actors, employees, second promotional video for winter 2022

Warner Bros. Japan announced today that the anime "Girls Frontline" will be released in January 2022. Along with the date, additional cast members and the ending theme were revealed, and a promotional video for the series was released.

The new cast members are as follows:

- Mikako Komatsu as Gentiane

- Nao Toyama as Kalina

- Hitomi Nabatame as Agent

- Kaya Okuno as Scarecrow

- Shizuka Ito as the Executioner

- Akio Otsuka as Kruger

Asahi Production is animating the series under the direction of Shigeru Ueda. Hideyuki Kurata is in charge of the series composition, while Masaki Yamada is responsible for the character designs. Takashi Watanabe composes the music.

The idol group Team Shachi performs the ending theme "HORIZON," which can be heard in the promotional video below. The video begins with Gentiane asking for a commander and then being assigned to M4A1.



Girls' Frontline is a gacha game by China-based developer MICA Team, first released in 2016. The game was launched in Japan as Dolls' Frontline, as the original name was already taken.
